We were looking for a fireplace unit for our outdoor patio and had gone to a local store first. We picked the same basic model and extras and were given a quote of $14,000. So we decided to check online and found NorCal Fire & Grill. What a difference. We found just what we wanted at half the price. Once I placed the order (on a Sunday) I was contacted by Jay immediately to let me know the model we chose was not approved for California. He assisted me in choosing a comparable model. We also purchased heaters for the patio.
Shipping was the same week. Everything arrived in great condition except for one cracked tube on a heater. Jay responded immediately and had a replacement sent out with no problem. This was by far one of the easiest, most cost effective and professional online purchases we have ever made. Highly recommend.

Love my Sierra Flame Electric Fireplace! Well made of cast iron. Remote controlled ember bed colors, speed and brightness of fire images, and variable heat settings. Manual controls on the fireplace itself. So much fun changing up settings! I would like to see an option for “real fire” looking setting, but it nicely and beautifully replaces my 40 year old Vermont Castings wood stove. Yay! No more ash and dust!
After unboxing my fireplace I found hidden damage behind the cardboard container. I e-mail [****] several time with images but received no response at all. If you're building a new house and preorder your materials like I did, make sure you unbox and inspect all your items before you receive them.
Bought Mesa XL, it has been a great purchase for our family. The little stove is asked for by my teenagers, and my wife and I welcome the request for family time outdoors. We love the convenience and size of the mesa XL. I loved the convenience of payments through Shop app.

I’m only a few cooks in but there really is no substitute for cooking over coal & wood. Everything I’ve cooked so far is next level in terms of taste. Also, the ease of use of the grill is far superior to my old grill. Simply load the fuel trays, turn on the gas for 3 minutes and then shut off the gas. That’s it, you’re now cooking with solid fuel. Truly a pleasure to use.
